Music in the stacks

Music in the stacks

September 25 @ 10:00 am – 1:00 pm

Join musician Sarah Atter to immerse yourself in the history and context of this beautiful library. We will explore and experience music written at around the time the library was originally built, using it as inspiration for our own contemporary musical masterpiece based on your suggestions and experience of the library today!

About Sarah:

Sarah trained in Manchester as a classical flautist at the University of Manchester and RNCM. Since then, Sarah has broadened her horizons, working as a musician, leader, composer and teacher in variety of fields including music in healthcare, music in the community, music in education, music in criminal justice and collaborative cross-art form projects. She now works both as an independent practitioner and in partnership with other organisations, and always enjoys a new challenge!

Outside of work, Sarah enjoys cooking (and eating), trying to do DIY and having lots of sleep!
